May the IndyCar Gods smile on you Christopher:) Just what I was looking for and quite well done. I have to go now. The six year old kid next door is coming over to help me wire up some stuff so I can watch both events. If that doesn't work, I can substitute Ms Duno for globular things that bounce.

Here you go, Ron:

A competitive NCAA tournament game on Sunday will dive-bomb IndyCar's ratings at St. Pete like Takuma Sato in a hairpin.

I am a transplanted Hoosier from the famed Frankfort, Sedalia, Rossville triangle now living near Milwaukee (the city with no damn race this year), so I am familiar with and understanding of the intense Hoosier interest in globular things that bounce, which coincidentally seem to be the same color as Jack Arute's face. Having said that, could all you Hoosiers, Hoosierettes, and other round-ball fans at least work in some small reference to IndyCar racing for the remainder of the week??!! "Maraes draws fifth foul for charging" Something, anything-please!

Having just discussed the matter w/ other renowned basketball minds, we've come to a unanimous conclusion:

That Northern Iowa kid's pull-up 3 was the single ballsiest shot in the history of basketball. That's not hyperbole.

To wit: taking that SAME SHOT during a dumb Tuesday night Rec-League game would be utterly preposterous, and your friends would think you've gone mad. Or drunk. But to shoot it against the #1 seed? With 30 seconds still on the shot clock??? Under THOSE conditions -- in THAT setting?? It's unfathomable. It truly is. That took onions the size of grain silos.

Anyway, tough break, Jayhawk believers. Suckers. MY BRACKET REMAINS STRONG LIKE BULL!!! (Kansas St./Kentucky in the Finals.)

At this point, I proudly declare that I am from the Hawkeye State and that one of our teams could screw up so many brackets. :)

Holy crap -- I just noticed that the Cornell mascot looks like Crazy Alaskan Hockey Bear!!!! You know, w/o the sunglasses. Or the "I just blew up Earth" smug look on his face. Fascinating.

Hang on. "Fervently opposed to...Erudite Southerners"? Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new salvo fired in the Great Oilpressure/Pagoda War of 2010!

Oh, wait. George called you the equivalent of "frequently chemically altered" today, didn't he, Hobbson? I, for one, can not wait to see where this goes. Somebody is going to wind up naked and hogtied in the Coke Lot.
