The time has come. The madness is now upon us. And as such, we must all begin preparing in our own special ways – whatever those might be. Perhaps you must load up the car. Or maybe you need to add the finishing touches to your fortified compound in the Coke Lot. Or maybe it’s time to start free-basing OxiClean and heading toward your assigned gurney in the infield. It hardly matters, really.
The point is, there is much work to be done. Let us get to it. We will reconvene next week, once the wonderful chaos has subsided.
But before we part … may the sun shine brightly, the traditions stay grand, and your own perfect Indy 500 become reality.

I told Roy huffing WD-40 was, at minimum, “poor judgment.” The Indianapolis jail must not have wireless Internet access, so we have to wait until he makes bail, I guess.
